AlbanyCanCode is excited to announce its expansion into the Hudson Valley with the launch of KingstonCanCode.

Since 2016 AlbanyCanCode has been providing workforce training in software development for adults and k-12 classes for children in the Capital Region. The Hudson Valley shares many characteristics with the Capital Region, including tech businesses struggling to hire and residents who have aptitude but have yet to explore a career in technology.

 

Kingston Python for Data Analytics Course

In this 12-week Python for Data Analytics  course, offered in partnership with SUNY Ulster, students will learn fundamental programming concepts using the programming language Python, specifically as a tool for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data. Python is one of the world’s most popular programming languages, and more businesses are introducing Python into their work. The course will take students through the basics of programming (variables, data structures, loops, conditionals, etc.), and into Python Libraries for data analysis (Numpy, Matplotlib, etc). 

Offered 100% virtually, this course will met Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5:45pm-8:45pm beginning February 2nd, 2021. The cost of the course is $1,750 and tuition assistance is available to those who qualify. To ensure that all of our students have the means to complete our course, lender laptops are available.
